NiBBLE Racing End of Season

Congratulations to the NiBBLE racing division on their end of season performance. It has been a great opportunity to work alongside the Assetto Corsa and iRacing teams and to see them improving every week. You all moved from strength to strength during the 2018 season. We look forward to the next season in 2019.

Sim Race SA – Assetto Corsa

NiBBLE Racing had a strong contingency of drivers descending upon Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, more commonly known as Interlagos, this week.  Due to a rule infringement, we had drivers excluded from the division 1 race earlier in the week. In true NiBBLE Racing fashion, the drivers regrouped and focused on doing well in the lower divisions.

Inus Bothma clawed his way up the field with a focused and determined drive to score a well-deserved 7th place in division 2.  Vian du Plessis showed that he has what it takes to deal with pressure by bringing the car to the finish line in 13th position in his debut race!

Division 3 saw Ruan Smith and Donavon du Toit (another debutant) adding two more trophies to an ever-expanding cabinet by finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.  Congratulations!

NiBBLE Racing would also like to welcome Cameron Nel to the team. Cameron is no stranger to competitive racing and we look forward to seeing him sharing his experience and working with the team as he prepares for the 2019 season.

iRacing – Season 4

Daytona International Speedway hosted the first night race in the VRS Sprint Series season 4 calendar.

Wayne Wortley and Johan Venter attended, finishing 5th and 8th respectively, keeping both of them on course to finish in the top 10% in the championship which boasted almost 5000 entrants last season and spanned nine divisions.

Ross Bartle continued his form in the Porsche 911 Cup car, finishing in 8th position at Philip Island Circuit after qualifying in 15th position. The strong drive sustains his momentum as we head into the second half of the championship season.

NiBBLE iRacing Season 4

NiBBLE Racing welcomes Scott Temple to the group.  Yet another real-world driver joins the ranks. We look forward to seeing Scott showcase his talent over the coming months.
